Worthwhile weekends

As parents, creating fun and memorable activities with our children is one of the best gifts we can give

Why Sierra Madre Sanctuary?
The Sierra Madre Sanctuary is established as a sustainability and resiliency hub that will advocate for the protection of biodiversity and the preservation of the indigenous cultural communities within the sierra madre region of the Philippines.

This weekend, I decided to bring my son and his cousins for a walk in the trails of the Re+Live camp site at the Sierra Madre Sanctuary in Real, Quezon. The four of us treaded the muddy terrain. They were thrilled and feeling brave as they get their hands and feet soiled along the way. All of us were exhausted, but their faces were beaming with smiles as beads of sweat roll down their foreheads!

Family Travel
Stronger families are essential to nation-building

Explore nature and allow yourself to breathe — unhurried

At the Sierra Madre Sanctuary, we prioritize families. Our aim is to create a place where families can share stories and build stronger bonds. We would like to encourage every guest to explore nature through the trail walks and the humble huts under the shade of trees.

In today’s society, where conflicts and indifference hit the home, where everyone is busy with deadlines or caught in the “rat race” we want to offer a safe space for father, mother, daughter, sons, and grandparents to listen and get to know one another. A space where everyone can just sit and allow pleasant conversations to take place.

A typical Filipino family would include the tito (uncle), tita (auntie), and pinsan (cousins). We’d love to welcome you all!

Reviving stewardship as man’s primary duty

The core of our advocacy is stewardship of God’s creation. We believe in restoration. For us, sustainability means that we are mindful of how we use our natural resources so that the future generations can enjoy the same, if not better environment.

Rewilding Trips
Younger generations need guidance on how to live in harmony with nature
